After years of attending auctions I gradually started selling a few pictures (mainly hunting prints) to friends, and eventually jumped in at the deep end with a few fairs . . .
That
was a long time ago and now I sell my antiques at fairs and through a small friendly
gallery called Antiques @ The George, in Burford,
pictured, which is situated in the heart of the Cotswolds.
I love early blue and white - Worcester and Liverpool - practical pieces of Georgian silver, hunting prints and antiquarian maps. Of course there are lots of other things, including Victorian Green Glass Dumps, decorative china and glass, silhouettes . . the list goes on!
North East potteries are always interesting, including Sunderland Lustreware, which is now so popular.
Have a look at my page on Sunderland Lustre - I've located some of the SUNDERLAND POTTERY Reference Books issued by the Museum (now out of print) - got a few to sell!
If you have any queries I can help with - mail me!
Meantime, have a look at my new What's New Page, where you'll see the items I am currently gloating over!!!
