Hall Charlton was one of the up and coming players to play in the Cardiff friendly, played on November the 22nd 1998. He came on in place of Allen Chilten, the Falcons understudy to Gary Armstrong. Along with eight other youth players he made a strong impact on the Newcastle selectors, all of whom have now played in a league match for the club. Hall made his league debut against West Hartlepool at Kingston Park on the 27th of December 1998. His rise to the squad came after Gary Armstrong broke his thumb and Allen Chilten broke two of his fingers. The game brought him a try adding to the teams 29-13 win, and the respect he deserved from the Falcons and West supporters.
Hall reached the Falcons after playing for Durham City where he was selected to play for the England Under 18's squad. This summer Hall has earned himself the opportunity to go with 25 Falcons Under 21's squad on tour to New Zealand. Good Luck!!
