One of the three young players signed by the Falcons on the 8th July. Already Michael has established himself as an international player as a member of the England Under 18 and 21 side. His best rugby moment was touring Australia with the England under 21s. Also being part of the North Colts and Senior North Team. He is now part of England's top league side after previously playing for West Hartlepool and Bath on the wing. His interest in the club was first shown at the beginning of the 1997/8 season when he played the league opener against Bath on loan from his previous club. This game was the start of the club's 85% league success rate that season. In the 1998/9 season he debuted as a replacement for Stuart Legg against Wasps on the 11th of October 98. He carried on to play numerous times on both right and left wings during the season, his first try, against Gloucester on the 25.4.99 |
