Printed publications such as the Disability Information Pack and Access Guide To Scarborough can be requested by post, a small charge for postage is made. Some documents can be downloaded in Portable Document Format (Adobe PDF) from the bottom of this page.

Scarborough DAG can provide training into disability equality awareness and the implications of the October 2004 legislation for goods and service providers to meet the needs of disabled people.

The site also has listings of

· equipment hire companies supplying wheelchairs and scooters in the Scarborough and district area.

· accessible toilets in the Scarborough area.

· accessible restaurants that disabled people can eat out.
