The Volunteer Bureau Project (VBP)

 

The main aim of the VBP is to provide disabled people with an opportunity to maximise individual potential and to develop skills and confidence.

Recruitment

DAG is looking to recruit volunteers, aged 16 or over, who are disabled or have personal experience of disability.

Assistance

All DAG offices and training venues are fully accessible and we endeavour to provide any support that helps people to participate in the project.

As a DAG volunteer, you can:

  • learn new skills
  • develop existing skills
  • share knowledge & experience
  • build up confidence
  • uncover hidden talents

You can also:

  • participate in training sessions
  • meet new people
  • provide information and advice
  • develop further knowledge of disability issues
  • be part of a professional organisation
  • have fun!!!
